As every British schoolboy knows in 1066AD the last successful invasion of Britain occurred when William the Bastard got bored of his name and took a little holiday to that insignificant island to the north, the rest as they say is quiet literally history.
These articles will chronicle my attempts at recreating the flavour of this period of history in 15mm using the DBA and DBM game systems.
Miniatures sourced from Essex Miniatures who seem to have a very wide range and not unreasonable prices, attached to metal bases sourced from Products for Wargamers as again the price is right and the guy who runs it is what could easily be termed 'a jolly nice chap'.
Painting is by myself, as are photographs, as such when either suck its not the models fault...
